What is it

A Learning Management System – also known as an elearning platform - is a cloud-based software package that enables enterprises to deliver learning content and resources to their employees. An elearning platform is often web-and cloud-based to facilitate 24/7 access to elearning courses and relevant education. Furthermore, an eLearning Platform is also called "Course Management System", "Pedagogical Platform" or "eLearning Management System".

eLearning Platforms are considered to be the missing bridge between current education improvements and effective uses of technology. Typically, an elearning platform encourages instructors to guide and manage employee achievement more effectively by contextualizing the learning experience itself in a consistent and creative way.
